I say no Christian may vote for Obama with a clear conscience. Life begins at conception, this is not a religious viewpoint, it is a biological fact. From a Christian standpoint: Christ was with Mary from conception.
Given the scientific fact that a human life begins at conception, the only moral norm needed to understand the Church’s opposition to abortion is the principle that each and every human life has inherent dignity, and thus must be treated with the respect due to a human person. This is the foundation for the Church’s social doctrine, including its teachings on war, the use of capital punishment, euthanasia, health care, poverty and immigration. Conversely, to claim that some live human beings do not deserve respect or should not be treated as “persons” (based on changeable factors such as age, condition, location, or lack of mental or physical abilities) is to deny the very idea of inherent human rights. Such a claim undermines respect for the lives of many vulnerable people before and after birth.
What is an Embryo?
Though produced in a new and bizarre manner, a cloned embryo grows and develops as a living organism in the same way as one produced by fertilization. Writes Professor Lee Silver of Princeton University: “Cloned children will be full-fledged human beings, indistinguishable in biological terms from all other members of the species. Thus, the notion of a soulless clone has no basis in reality” (Remaking Eden: Cloning and Beyond in a Brave New World, New York: Avon Books 1997, p. 107). To claim that an embryo produced by cloning is not really an embryo, in order to justify destructive experimentation on it, is arbitrary and “self-serving” (Embryologist Jonathan Van Blerkom of University of Colorado, in American Medical News, Feb. 23, 1998, p. 32).
Some proponents of destructive embryo research try to deny moral status to all early human embryos. They have coined the term “pre-embryo” to describe human embryos in the first two weeks of development, seeking to justify destructive experimentation during this early stage. However, the term and concept of “pre-embryo” has never been accepted by Congress, the National Institutes of Health’s Human Embryo Research Panel, or the National Bioethics Advisory Commission, and is rejected by contemporary textbooks on embryology.

Obama wants change like Hitler wanted change.
Recently Obama and McCain were interviewed by one of those “pick up a bible and make a million dollars” church “pastors”… Rick Warren… I have an issue with people who treat religion as a business for easy living, but that’s for another blog… Rick asked B.O. at what point does a baby get “human rights”, and B.O.’s response was “… whether you’re looking at it from a theological perspective or a scientific perspective, answering that question with specificity … is above my pay grade.”. Which is not an answer… Warren should have then brought up BIAPA (see previous post). B.O. gave the non-answer because he is a baby killer and supports infanticide. B.O. shouldn’t have been able to make it to senate let alone presidential nominee. Obama belongs in the Chinese government with others like himself, not in American government.
Jill Stanek, a nurse who works at a hospital in Illinois has found that babies were being aborted alive and then shelved to die in soiled utility rooms. Jill is seconding a statement made by Alan Keyes that Jesus Christ would not vote for Barack Obama because of his support for infantcide.
Born Alive Infants Protection Act (BAIPA) was legislation presented at the federal level to provide all live born babies the same constitutional right to equal protection, whether or not they were wanted.
Illinois had a state version of BAIPA, which failed, because of Barack Obama. After Obama left, in 2005, it passed.
